Introduction

The geometry tool allows the user to select atoms to measure distances, bond angles and dihedral angles. A table lists the data and bond lengths are shown in the graphics window.

Select atoms by double clicking in graphics window: double click on one atom and then double click on another to measure distance between them.

• Shift-double-click will measure distance to last atom, angle to one before that, dihedral angle to the one before that, etc.
• Without the shift button the behaviour is to measure a distance between one pair of atoms and then another.

Right-click/Ctrl-click on atoms in this list for options (delete, centre, etc.).

Program Options

• The connections between atoms may be drawn as lines or solid cylinders and may be dashed or not.
• The line colour and text colour for bond length are also user-definable.
